Steeped in history the most exciting way to experience Ballarat is with a camera or phone in hand and guided by a professional photographer who knows where the best architecture and light is in this truly photogenic city.
Only 100 km from Melbourne, Ballarat boasts some of the best gold rush architecture in the region.
Participants of all ages, abilities and levels of experience will learn the art of architectural photography on one of our tours.
Participants will meet at the National Centre For Photography and need to bring a camera and/or iPhone. Please dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes for walking. The walks will go for approximately one hour.
“It wasn’t only a chance to learn about taking pictures but I also learnt from watching how Peter moved in to set up for shots and how he framed them. In anything like this you always learn something new.” – Ballarat Foto Walk participant
