Parents and carers are welcome to stay for the duration of the workshop. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Expect
Participants will work together to create a portrait in Telly Tuita’s Tongpop Fiasco Interactive Studio, using the props provided. You’ll then use the art materials supplied to create a fun collage to take home.
Materials provided.
This workshop has a capacity of 10 participants (not including carers).
What to Bring
- Any additional items you’d like to include in your collage, such as stickers
- Warm clothes
- A snack and water bottle
About Your Teacher
Kate Golding is a mother, artist, educator and researcher. She is passionate about art and education and has worked as a school teacher in Japan, England and NSW, as well as a university lecturer in Melbourne. She teaches Toddler Art at Footscray Community Arts. Kate is primary caregiver to a young child and her absolute favourite thing to do is make art with her kid!
Kate is a settler Australian of English ancestry based on unceded Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung land.
