What to Expect
This immersive workshop will introduce you to the basics of food photography, guided by two creative professionals. Shellie and Ewen will begin with a discussion on gear and lighting before walking you through hands-on sessions to capture, style, process and print your own food photos. Gain real-world skills to apply to your commercial work, and learn simple lighting setups to achieve great results in a wide variety of settings.
This workshop is open to anyone who wants to start their journey in food photography regardless of existing skill level. If you run a cafe, have a food blog, love to cook, have an interest in still-life photography, or are thinking about a side-hustle… then this workshop will prove invaluable for you. Professional results are achievable with any camera system, including full-frame, APS-C and MFT.

About Your Teachers
Shellie Froidevaux (Iron Chef Shellie) is one of Melbourne’s most talented and genuine food photographers. Her professional skills include recipe development, food styling and lifestyle photography for hotels, resorts and wineries.


Ewen Bell is LUMIX Ambassador and editorial photographer who specialises in travel photography in the Himalayas and the Arctic.
