What to Expect
Knox Bertie’s work focuses on the relationship between people and the urban environment. Often a study of light and dark in black and white, his work presents a look at the day-to-day lives of fellow citizens as they find moments of quiet reflection during their daily routine.
In this two-day masterclass, Knox will discuss many of the motivations that influence his work as well as the nuts and bolts of his photography technique. The workshop will consist of both theory/inspiration and practical shooting exercises.
This workshop has a capacity of 10 students.

About Your Teacher
Knox Bertie is a Canadian-born chemistry teacher and photographer, currently living and working in Sydney. He is obsessed with photographing his daily experiences and developing new techniques. With his vast knowledge of chemistry, he’s able to push the limits of film photography in the darkroom.
