Supporting the Ballarat International Foto Biennale
In these times of uncertainty, your generosity and commitment to supporting the arts is more crucial than ever, the survival of the festival is at stake. Fortunately our festival was not on this year, however, we are still paying artists this year to exhibit their works during the festival in 2021 and the cost is immense.
In order to present the Ballarat International Foto Biennale 2021 we rely heavily on support from generous individuals, in addition to the support by government, philanthropic organisations and corporate sponsorship. Your donations are absolutely vital to ensuring the festival continues.
As a response to the COVID-19 crisis we have introduced Open Program Micro Grants for the 2021 Biennale. This funding will directly support an artist to exhibit, with grants ranging from 30-70% of the registration fee.
