Portals to Atlantis

Kate Ballis (AUS) /

Kate Ballis uncovers the unseen and the otherworldly through her signature use of infrared photography. In this site-responsive project, Ballis transforms the Ballarat Railway Station into a three-dimensional experience, integrating her photographs into the heritage station architecture, windows, and staircases, and guiding commuters through a portal to mythical worlds.
