My friend the river

Nicole Sanders

The River is my friend. A quiet presence, a creator of life.

This body of work signals a return to processes that allows for things to happen. Things that are not perfect. Respite from the digital age.

This river is old. Recently footprints of a lizard like reptile were found in the mud rock, 356 million years old. This discovery changed our understanding of time. Of creation. What else has this river been witness to? What did it look like before sheep and cattle grazed its banks? It is all here if you look.

These images are witness to this time, a culmination of all the other time and some from time to come.

Get lost in them.
