By voting in the Ballarat Youth Photography Prize UFS People’s Choice Award, you agree to the following:

  1. The Ballarat Youth Photography Prize UFS People’s Choice Award voting is open to the public.
  2. One People’s Choice winning artist to receive a non-acquisitive cash prize of AUD $150 (inc. GST if applicable).
  3. Votes must be submitted during the voting period, which opens on Sunday 20 September and closes at 11:59 pm on Friday 2 October 2026. The Ballarat Youth Photography UFS People’s Choice Award winner will be determined according to the most votes received by a Ballarat Youth Photography Prize entrant that year.
  4. Only one vote per person is allowed.
  5. Voting must reflect genuine, individual participation. You must not use any method that unfairly influences the results. This includes (but is not limited to):
    • Using bots, scripts or automated systems.
    • Submitting multiple votes yourself.
    • Attempting to manipulate the vote through technical means.
    • Votes that appear to come from the same person, device, IP address or other source may be reviewed and may be disqualified.
  6. The Ballarat International Foto Biennale reserves the right to monitor voting activity and to remove or disqualify any votes that breach these terms. Decisions about vote validity are final.
  7. Any personal information collected during voting will be handled in line with the Ballarat International Foto Biennale’s Privacy Policy.
  8. The Ballarat Youth Photography Prize UFS People’s Choice Award will be awarded to the entrant with the highest number of valid votes. Results are final.
  9. The winner of the Ballarat Youth Photography Prize UFS People’s Choice Award will be announced on the Ballarat International Foto Biennale’s Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  10. The Ballarat International Foto Biennale may update these voting terms if needed to ensure the fairness and integrity of the award.
