The displayed images are the outcome of inviting 18 women to make a comment in their own writing & language about anything that they felt came to mind.

Shouting Quietly provided an opportunity to do this in a safe and creative space.

By using language of choice and script the project celebrates the diversity amongst the small group and further the beauty of the written word in all of the cultural backgrounds represented.

The participants are all connected to RMIT University and are either staff or students.

The project has been made possible by the RMIT VE Photography School who provided studio, equipment and technical services.
