“At the College the unforgettable Athol Shmith, Paul Cox, John Cato and Bryan Gracey sparked my passion for photography. It saved my life…it is my life!”
Julie Millowick, 2024.
This exhibition demonstrates what a life-force photography can be. The exhibitors, all photography students at Prahran CAE from the late 1960s to its closure in 1991, continue to photograph after diverse careers. There was no ‘house style’ at Prahran in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, beyond its inspiration to make pictures.
Please note that this exhibition is located upstairs in a heritage building and there is no lift.
