Follow the snake’s tail to journey The Times We Live In: a book title marking the beginning of the serpentine kundalini journey of transformation. Travel through the Black Swan event, via the x-ray shock of betrayal, past the inner-storm realisation of truth being hung up-side-down by corporate corruption. Squint to read the fine print. Can you see the book chapter titles that include: ‘Civilisation – its future?’, ‘Civilisation is not enough’, ‘Is Control of Atomic Energy Possible?’
Glass separates you from insights within BBC talks published in 1950, still relevant 75 years later in 2025. Spy the snake as it travels through blue hues, truth telling, inner belief, shedding skin … flying free. A visual story of struggle, resilience and resolve that is both deeply personal and universal. The artist purposely blurs boundaries between art mediums; collating found-objects, drawings, photo paste-ups and cyanotype prints. Mixed-media for the mixed-up news media we navigate from the times we live in.
Our evolution on earth echoed into the cosmos.
