This collection focuses on mystery and beauty in rural locations. On weekends I go on small road trips. I set out just before first light. The only plan is to find something new that I am compelled to take a photograph of. I love the early morning solitude and the empty backroads. I try to capture the feeling of isolation and poetry in my photography. These pictures seem to me like forgotten memories, déjà vu, dreams.

Biography

I live in the Macedon Ranges. I photograph rural and urban landscapes and enjoy the early morning colours in the country and early evening tones of Melbourne. My influences include William Eggleston, David Lynch and Clarice Beckett.
