Mosaic of Voices: video poems
A series of original poems written by young people in Ballarat and reimagined as short video works through mentorship with filmmaker and Creative Producer Diana Paez. These pieces explore identity, family, mental health, and belonging — offering powerful, personal reflections through a new visual form. Poems by Dee Wood, Thu Nguyen, Sarah Hussein. A Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) Ballarat project made possible by the Australian Government Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.

Mosaic of Voices: the short film
A collective portrait of youth in Ballarat. This short-form documentary, based on interviews, weaves together reflections on identity, biculturality, resilience, belonging, and hope. Through diverse young voices, it invites us into a rich mosaic of perspectives shaped by age, cultural background, and gender.
Created as part of the Living Stories project, a Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) Ballarat initiative. Directed by Creative Producer and Filmmaker Diana Paez.
