1 in 4 is a reference to the number of women in Australia between the ages of 16 and 65 who will be subjected to domestic violence. The images in this exhibition are the beginnings of a much larger project that Ian Kemp has in mind which he will develop over the next year. The images here reflect the impact on all ages of women, starting with children. As the project progresses, Kemp aims to add text and make posters that can be used in the community for change.
