Join exhibition curator, Olivia Poloni, in conversation with artists Ruth Maddison and Rachel Mounsey, discussing the exhibition and their experiences capturing the Australian bushfires in 2020.

Raining Embers examines the global climate crisis through the lens of four photographers, looking at the devastation and despair of communities that were taken by the wildfires.

Curator, Olivia Poloni
Olivia Poloni is an independent Melbourne-based Contemporary and Public Art Curator. She is currently a Consultant to T Projects, an arts and culture consultancy integrating creative programs and public art into complex built environments, and independently curating a number of contemporary art exhibitions and projects. Olivia sits on the City of Moreland Arts Advisory Board and City Space Architecture Advisory Board (Bologna, Italy). Olivia edited Fukutake House Asia Art Platform (Asialink Arts Setouchi Triennale 2013) and has been published in art journals including UN MagazineArtlinkArtist ProfileArt Monthly and the International Network for the Conservation of Contemporary Art. Olivia holds a Masters of Arts Curatorship from the University of Melbourne.
