Against the dramatic backdrop of the ancient Targangal (Mt Kosciuszko) region of the Australian alps, Avalanche explores the unfamiliar psychological terrain of a world disrupted by the pandemic and the intensifying impacts of global warming. Revealing unexpected layers and contradictions, Avalanche invites reflection upon the existential challenges of the Anthropocene, human agency, choice and consequence.

Biography
My photographic practice explores questions of time, space and civilisation. I am interested in the human impact on the landscape, social and industrial structures; order and randomness, (dis)location, the absurd, otherworldly and surreal. My work explores and questions notions of progress, permanence and transcience, decay and renewal.
