This body of work forms an extrospective narrative. Underpinning that narrative is a notion of presenting photographs that individually appear as fragments of landscape and text. The images step outside a chaotic world to embrace otherness and reprieve from the barrage of our digitised everyday.
Rhonda Baum holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from Monash University. She is an educator and has been a gallery director and committee member with various artist-run initiatives in Melbourne. Baum’s photographic practice has developed in conjunction with an ongoing visual arts practice. She has exhibited regularly across multiple platforms, and her work resides in private collections nationally and internationally.
