Experience a guided tour with a professional photographer during the Ballarat Heritage Festival. Steeped in history, the best way to experience Ballarat is with a camera in hand, guided by local photographers Dylan Leak and Peter Kervarec.
Participants of all ages, abilities and levels of experience will learn the art of photography while exploring the heritage architecture and sites of the city. Dylan and Peter will offer their knowledge and unique insights into photography, providing participants with a new outlook on how to capture the streetscapes and architecture of our historic city.
Only 100 km from Melbourne, the city of Ballarat boasts some of the best gold rush architecture and heritage sites across the region. You will learn tips and tricks to capture the streetscapes and architecture of our historic city.
Participants will meet at the National Centre For Photography and will need to bring a camera and/or phone. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking. The walks will run for approximately one and a half hours.
Dylan Leak: 8th, 15th May 4:30pm – 6pm, 26th June 4pm – 5.30pm
Peter Kervarec: 9th, 16th, 22nd May 2pm – 3:30pm
