To celebrate Australian photographers and Australian photography on the world stage.

Our aim is to promote, exhibit, develop and build audiences for photography by presenting photography from the world to Australia and from Australia to the world

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale is a not for profit incorporated association run by a board, a management team, a series of organising  committees and a host of volunteers, most of whom give their time and energy free to help run the festival every two years.
