BETA - developments in photography
Welcome to issue 04 BETA developments in photography. BETA is published by the Ballarat International Foto Biennale six times a year and features some of the best contemporary photography from Australia and around the world. Each issue sees major spreads from five or six featured artists.
If you think your work is strong enough to feature in a future edition of BETA, we welcome submissions for consideration. Send between 10 and 20 jpeg thumbnail images [maximum 700 pixels on the longest side] from a cohesive body of work with a brief bio and statement about the work. Send via email to beta@ballaratfoto.org Your submission should not exceed 10mb.

Welcome to the launch issue of ONE THOUSAND WORDS [about photography]. ONE THOUSAND WORDS [about photography] is a sister publication to BETA – developments in photography, and will publish 3 or 4 times a year, to bring you critical essays on the issues that affect photographers and photography, as well as exhibition reviews on notable exhibitions of photography and events that catch our eye. Writers are invited to submit articles for consideration to appear in future editions of ONE THOUSAND WORDS [about photography] to the editor, Esther Gyorki esther@ballaratfoto.org
